The Piper PA28 Weight & Balance calculator is an innovative tool designed for aviation enthusiasts and professionals alike. It features an interactive interface for adding weights, complemented by real-time graph plotting for key metrics such as Zero Fuel Weight Center of Gravity (ZFW CoG), Take-Off CoG, and Landing CoG.

As users input weight values, a Center of Gravity (CG) symbol moves dynamically along the aircraft's axis, facilitating quick identification of potentially problematic CG positions, whether too far forward or too far aft.

This calculator supports various PA28 variants, including: 140, 150, 151, 161, 180, R180, 181, R200, R201, R201T, RT201T, 235, and 236.

Additionally, it provides access to the Flight Envelope feature for precise readings of the CG position, with visual indicators that highlight critical areas: magenta for ZFW, red for Take-Off, and blue for Landing. The application issues warnings if weight limits are exceeded or if the CG is outside of the Flight Envelope.

Users can save aircraft information in a database for quick retrieval during future calculations. The ability to generate a professional-looking PDF load sheet is also included; this document can be saved, printed, shared, or emailed and contains regulatory details such as aircraft registration number, departure and arrival aerodromes, as well as time and date.
